Microclimate WX is not built in a lab. It is built in partnership with the agricultural cooperatives, producers, and technology organizations that define modern Midwest agriculture.
We believe the best agricultural technology is built with farmers, not for them — through shared commitment, mutual value, and local ownership.
BlueMarble Weather is partnering with a leading central Illinois agricultural cooperative to deploy and validate Microclimate WX under real-world growing conditions
This cooperative operates multiple retail locations across central Illinois and is owned and governed by area producers — exactly the kind of locally managed, grower-focused organization that Microclimate WX is designed to serve.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to technology that works for farmers, not the other way around. The cooperative retains oversight of all member data, pricing is scaled to cooperative economics, and value must be proven with real results before expansion.
The partnership is structured around a phased pilot deployment beginning Spring 2026, placing Microclimate WX stations across member farms to validate performance, measure ROI, and build data-driven case studies. Member farms were selected for environmental variability — different soils, drainage patterns, topography, and microclimates.

"This is not a vendor-customer relationship. It is a joint effort between a technology company and a cooperative institution to build something neither could build alone — locally owned intelligence for locally owned cooperatives."

Document measurable cost savings and yield improvements
BlueMarble Weather's platform capability is built on collaborations with leading technology organizations
Direct collaboration on the Aurora foundation model for microclimate forecasting and atmospheric downscaling applications in precision agriculture.
Earth-2 CorrDiff integration for AI-powered downscaling of regional weather data to sub-field resolution.
Cloud infrastructure, Azure Fabric data platform, IoT Hub, and Power BI analytics powering the Microclimate WX decision engine.
Strategic technology and market access partner within the Microsoft ecosystem. iLink Digital is sponsoring BlueMarble Weather at Microsoft FABCON 2026, providing dedicated demonstration space to showcase the Microclimate WX platform to enterprise agricultural audiences. The partnership extends BlueMarble Weather's reach into large-scale grower operations through iLink's established agricultural client network.
Research Park headquarters providing access to agricultural science expertise, research collaboration, and the credibility of a world-class land-grant university rooted in the heart of corn and soybean country.
Regional connectivity partner delivering reliable wireless backhaul infrastructure across the pilot footprint. MF Wireless provides local installation support capacity and leverages established trust with area producers to enable seamless deployment of the Microclimate WX sensor network.
BlueMarble Weather approaches every partnership with the same principle that drives the entire platform: mutual value, local ownership, and shared commitment to outcomes that serve the people who grow the food.
We do not extract data from partners to build our own advantage. We do not lock cooperatives into proprietary systems that create dependency. We do not promise results without the willingness to prove them in the field first.
We build relationships the same way our cooperative partners build relationships with their members — by showing up, doing the work, and earning trust one season at a time.
Data stays with producers
